“with every drop of water you drink, every breath you take, you’re connected to the sea.”
i am drawn to diving the ocean because it reveals a world that feels completely different from life on land. incredible biodiversity beneath the surface - every size color and shape imaginable, and even some that defy imagination.
coral reefs teem with brightly colored fish, intricate corals, and other marine creatures that create a vibrant, living landscape. i often encounter animals ranging from tiny nudibranchs and seahorses to large creatures like sea turtles, sharks, and manta rays, not to mention whale sharks and whales!

it is a sense of exploration. many dive sites include underwater caves, coral walls, shipwrecks, and dramatic rock formations. each dive can feel like a new adventure, with the potential to uncover hidden passages, unique marine life, or historical artifacts resting on the seafloor.
but mostly, while I am constantly alert to my environment, i remain in many ways alone with my thoughts. the quietness of the underwater environment, broken only by the sound of breathing through a regulator and the rhythm of bubbles rising, interrupted only by the beauty of what one sees - and then my camera in action!
